The Ghost Particle Project

Aim of this project is to raise funds for Sivanesan Subramaniam, a student of physics living and studying in Malaysia. Sivanesan, aka "Ghost Particle", is the founder and mentor of a fascinating Internet project and mailing list called Cosmic Code, as well as an excellent writer of poetry, and a very good photographer. And an all-round wise person. However, without an own computer, he will not be able to guide his by now not-so-little community. This is how the idea of a fund-raiser arose, with the aim of collecting sufficient funds to provide Ghost Particle with a laptop computer. The sales proceeds will be collected by Fred Lessing via Paypal, and then transferred to Ghost Particle.

The Ghost Particle Project is therefore a collection of songs by bands and musicians from all over the world, based on Sivanesan's poems. At an initial stage, all songs will be available as individual downloads for 99 euro cents each. At a later stage, a combined audiobook, consisting of all songs, as well as a PDF containing Sivanesan's actual poems and photograhps, will be available for a nominal price of 5 euros. Bands/musicians so far: Mark 'Galaxy' Mamanta (USA), Daymoon (Portugal/USA), Mispel Bellyful (Portugal). Further bands expected to contribute songs: Miosótis (Portugal), Hugo Flores (Portugal).

The songs will be put online on the official Daymoon site as they are being finished (please note that they are copyrighted!). In early June you can expect December Fireflies (daymoon) and Separation and/or Difference (Mispel Bellyful). Stay tuned! (Speaking of which: we'll also be trying to get these songs free airplay on local radios, so to get people to visit the site and download the songs). So, spread the word and stay tuned!
